Why Locals Love Brazilian Grill & Bakery
Nestled in the heart of Columbus, OH, Brazilian Grill & Bakery is a vibrant destination that brilliantly blends the rich flavors of Brazil with a warm, inviting ambiance. This unique establishment masterfully combines the best of a Brazilian restaurant, bakery, and grocery store, offering visitors an authentic cultural and culinary experience all under one roof.
At the core of Brazilian Grill & Bakery’s menu lies a celebration of traditional Brazilian cuisine, showcased through both beloved classics and delightful specials. Start your day with their irresistible Pão de Queijo — a gluten-free, homemade cheese bread that is perfectly airy and subtly cheesy, giving you that comforting, warm bite reminiscent of sun-filled Brazilian mornings. For a savory snack, the freshly made Pastel, available with a variety of fillings like ground beef, ham, cheese, or the luxuriously creamy Catupiry cheese, offers a crispy, golden exterior encasing flavors that dance on your palate.
Lunch and dinner bring hearty and satisfying fare that meat lovers will especially appreciate. The Picanha ao Alho stands out — a generous cut of top sirloin steak, perfectly grilled and infused with fragrant garlic, tender enough to melt in your mouth but rich with robust smoky flavors. If you prefer poultry, the Frango Assado—seasoned baked chicken quarters, are deliciously tender with a crispy, savory skin. The Linguica Toscana, a traditional Brazilian sausage grilled with onions, delivers a smoky and spicy punch that pairs beautifully with their freshly baked Brazilian rolls.
Brazilian Grill & Bakery’s self-serve buffet option showcases a variety of dishes, enabling you to savor multiple flavors in one meal. This also creates a casual yet lively dining atmosphere, perfect for family gatherings or a relaxed outing with friends looking to immerse themselves in authentic Brazilian tastes.
What truly sets this spot apart is not only the excellence of its food but the seamless integration of a full-service Brazilian grocery store and bakery within the same space. Customers rave about the convenience of picking up specialty Brazilian ingredients, snacks, and freshly baked goods to take home, allowing you to continue the culinary journey beyond your meal. Federico Pizzuto praises Brazilian Grill & Bakery as “the best Brazilian restaurant I have ever tried in the US,” marveling at the unbeatable quality and variety at affordable prices.
Whether you’re craving a comforting breakfast of pão na chapa (buttered and toasted Brazilian roll) or indulging in a generous plate of roasted pork pernil, the experience here transcends mere eating — it’s a celebration of Brazilian culture and hospitality. Vincent Lam notes the authenticity of the buffet, highlighting the freshness and juiciness of the steak, while Alejandro Ramirez praises Cicero, the passionate pitmaster, for serving “the most delicious picanha” in an all-you-can-eat style.

For sure the best Brazilian Restaurant I have ever tried in the US!!! Food variety is good… the quality even better! Best churrasco in town and the fact they have a little shop inside is a plus. Their prices are also very affordable. I love this place!

My husband and I are visiting his family in Ohio from California, and he surprised me by bringing me here - what a treat! It instantly made me feel close to my hometown. This place is a solid 10 out of 10! I live in Los Angeles and wish we had a supermarket and restaurant like this one. The Brazilian market back home is so small and doesn’t carry nearly as many products. At the restaurant, we ordered the Chapa Mista (BBQ platter) with a side of beans and a Limonada Suíça - everything was absolutely delicious! The flavors, the portions, the vibe - all perfect. We’ll definitely be back whenever we’re in town!

This place is an authentic Brazilian buffet, bakery, bar, and grocery store. We came here for dinner on Tuesday. My friend told me they would have some special and delicious meat, such as chicken heart and lamb. However, there were only steak and sausage available. I was a little disappointed since I expected more kinds of meat. Anyway, their steak was juicy and fresh. The buffet price was great. We liked their spaghetti, potato salad, grilled plantains, and fresh juices. There were also great desserts, but we were too full to eat more. Service was friendly and fast.

Excellent food and service make this by far the best grill restaurant in the area. Cicero, the pit-master, will serve you the most delicious picana! And it’s all you can eat.

Place was great. They had a 27.99 buffet where ypu would walk up to a counter and the guy would cut you meat straight from the fire also they had many sides and it was all wonderful. When I walked in it was a little empty but within minutes it was packed also they have a store with a lot of different items from Brazil overall its a great experience and the price cant be beat for how good it is. I would highly recommend.

Experienced for the first time yesterday. Absolutely wonderful! Food was amazing, as was the staff and market! Even packed with patrons, the service was outstanding. I ordered from the menu, while my Brazilian friends chose the buffet (the reason we went there…they go whenever possible). They thoroughly enjoyed once again and said it is just like eating at home in Brazil. So many more items to try, I will definitely return. I wholeheartedly recommend.

I didn’t expect much when I walked in, just another buffet, I thought. But a few minutes later, I realized this place plays in a different league. The first thing that caught my eye was how fresh everything looked. The staff moved around quietly but constantly, switching trays, wiping counters, even checking food temperature like clockwork. You could tell they care. The kind of care that doesn’t need fancy words, it just shows up in every clean plate, every warm smile. And then came the meats. This is where the story changes. One skewer after another, the aroma of roasted beef and sausage filled the air. Perfectly charred outside, juicy inside, it’s clear that the meat is the real star here. If you love good grilled meat, this is your kind of heaven. The buffet itself is a blend of simplicity and heart. Some of the simplest dishes, like the garlic-sautéed greens or the fried plantains, reminded me that food doesn’t have to be complicated to be delicious. The fresh-squeezed orange juice was pure sunshine, and that coconut cake at the end… rich, creamy, and just right. Unlike most Brazilian steakhouses that feel fancy and pricey, this place is down-to-earth and welcoming, you get the same authentic taste, just without the formality. What makes this place even more special is how it’s half restaurant, half Brazilian market, you can feel the connection between food, culture, and community in one space. I came expecting a casual meal. I left thinking: this is what care tastes like.
